Weekly Drop: RealxHead Chaos Elemax, a Super7 Sofubi Flood and KaijuKen Yamashiro (July 2026)

Big week. The Super7 section of the shop just exploded: a wall of Monster Family sofubi, SDCC exclusives, Gargamel and Paul Kaiju collabs, Leroy C colorways we have not seen in years. On top of that there is a killer RealxHead collab, four KaijuKen Yamashiro, fresh Rampage Toys and a vintage B-Club test shot. Lots to dig through this week. Let’s go.

RealxHead x Neo One Orange Chaos Elemax sofubi in orange vinyl with silver, blue and purple paint
RealxHead x Neo One Orange Chaos Elemax. Orange tang vinyl, loaded with paint.

Hero of the Week

RealxHead x Neo One Orange Chaos Elemax

Orange tang vinyl with silver, blue, purple and more paint. Mori Katsura’s RealxHead has been pumping mutant sofubi out of Japan for two decades, and the Chaos family is the backbone of it all. This Neo One collab colorway is a stunner. Extremely nice in hand, the photos honestly undersell it. Loose, no packaging, like new condition.

The Super7 Sofubi Flood

Quick background for the new folks: Brian Flynn started Super7 in San Francisco as a magazine about Japanese monster toys, then went straight to the source and started making his own sofubi in Japan. The Monster Family line is the result, Mummy Boy, Ooze Bat, Rose Vampire, Fire Robo and friends, plus collabs with half the sofubi scene. A big pile of it just landed here, most of it loose and like new, and a lot of it convention exclusive stuff from the golden era.

Super7 x Gargamel Painted Green on Clear Zagarad sofubi figure

Super7 x Gargamel: Zagarad and Drunk Seijin

Clear vinyl with blue, green, silver and more paint. Awesome vinyl! The painted green on clear Zagarad is new in bag with header, and there is an unpainted glow Zagarad at $64 too. On the Drunk Seijin side, that is a KaToPe head on the standard Monster Family body: milky white at $68 and unpainted glow at $62, both new in bag. Fun stuff.

Super7 Glow x Orange Marbled Bat Boy Monster Family sofubi

Monster Family: Bat Boy, Mummy Boy and the Crew

Glow in the dark and orange marbled vinyl with orange, gold, red and more paint. Sweet sofubi, and marbled pulls like this are never the same twice. The rest of the family showed up too: a neon green Mummy Boy ($145), an unpainted black Ooze Bat ($99), Fire Robos in clear red and yellow ($54 each) plus unpainted seafoam ($44), Big Sals in red plasma ($64) and seafoam ($59), and Rose Vampires in Midnight ($78), Ghost of Xmas Past ($72) and the SSSS orange exclusive ($84). The sleeper is the Dragon Con 2010 glow Big Sal, initialled BP on the bottom, that is Brandt Peters, $89.

Clear Green Leroy C, we believe the SDCC 2012 exclusive. $74
Super7 x Invisible Creature SDCC 2011 glow in the dark Leroy C sofubi
SDCC 2011 Leroy C, glow vinyl with orange, green and white paint. $64
Super7 x Invisible Creature SSSS Black Leroy C sofubi figure
SSSS Black Leroy C. $64

Leroy C comes from Invisible Creature, the Seattle design studio of brothers Don and Ryan Clark, and Super7 ran over 30 colorways of the little guy back in the day. Classic Monster Family sofubi. These three are in stock right now, all loose and like new. Five more colorways came through and sold almost immediately, they are in the archive list at the bottom if you want to see what you missed.

Super7 x Paul Kaiju Green Partyball sofubi in green vinyl with gold and pink paint

The Collab Wall: Paul Kaiju, Arbito, LeMerde, Leecifer

Green vinyl with gold, pink and more paint, new in bag with header. The Super7 x Paul Kaiju Partyball at $54 is the easy grab of the week. Also up: the Arbito Patty Power in clearish blue ($79), a whole run of LeMerde Hollis Price, green face ($89), green shirt ($68), Freakin Awesome glow ($68) and a loose clear lame ($59), plus the seafoam Turdical Le Turd ($48) and the Leecifer SSSS fleshy tan Honoo ($72). KaijuKen Yamashiro, Four Deep

KaijuKen’s Yamashiro does not turn up often. These runs were extremely limited, and a couple of these versions we cannot even find documented online. The Radiation Burn is milky white vinyl with browns, silver and more paint. The black one is the Blobpus collab, orange and browns over black vinyl; from what we can gather it was painted by Blobpus but is not signed by him, so we will say exactly that. The Secret Aged Bronze speaks for itself, and there is a black x silver fourth version too. All four are new in bag with header, $199 each. Tough vinyl to find. Grab the one that speaks to you.

Grody Shogun x Jetturre Silver Shimmer Francois Le Grand sofubi in silver lame vinyl

Grody Shogun x Jetturre Silver Shimmer Francois Le Grand

Silvery lame vinyl with a few darker lines of lame running through it, mostly in the feet. Nothing of significance, that is just how the pour went, and we would rather tell you than have you wonder. Like new in original bag with header. Grody Shogun also dropped two straight up monsters this week: an orange x purple Wolfman and a green eye Frankenstein, $74 each. Great in hand, all three.

B-Club unpainted flesh test shot Captain Ultra vintage sofubi

B-Club Unpainted Flesh Test Shot Captain Ultra

Test shot in flesh color vinyl. This is the figure before the figure, the pull a maker checks before a run goes to production, and they rarely leave Japan. The vinyl is squishier than a normal production pull, which is typical for a test, but not super squishy. Neat HTF piece from B-Club, Bandai’s old hobby label. Loose, no packaging, like new condition. Exactly as shown.

Rampage Toys Bloody Red Two Toed Tom alligator sofubi in red vinyl

Rampage Toys: Two Toed Tom Times Two

Red vinyl with silver, black, white and more paint. Nice full bodied sofubi. Two Toed Tom is real Southern folklore, an alligator that supposedly lost all but two toes to a steel trap and terrorized swamps in Alabama and Florida for decades. Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys turned him into a killer sculpt. The Marmit collab brown version is here too ($199), plus the weird fun stuff Rampage does best: a royal blue Unshaggy Unicorn ($29), a green headed Shaggy Tomato Unicorn Thingy ($34), a clear x gold Tomato Guy ($34) and a micro Balboa Bunny Bear Fighter ($32).

Max Toy Co x Tsuburaya Purple Twin Tail kaiju sofubi from Return of Ultraman

Max Toy Co x Tsuburaya Purple Twin Tail

Purple vinyl with purple, red, green and more paint. Sweet sculpt. Twin Tail is the whip tailed Tsuburaya kaiju from Return of Ultraman, and this is an official licensed Max Toy Co release. With Max Toy closed for good this year, what is out in the wild is all there will ever be, and the Tsuburaya licensed pieces tend to go first. Loose, comes with header only, like new condition.

MVH x Unbox painted marbled Chibi Ollie V2 sofubi

MVH x Unbox Painted Marbled Chibi Ollie V2

Marbled vinyl with restrained paint on top from Rich at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, with Unbox handling production. The marble does the heavy lifting here and MVH lets it, just enough color to pull it together. Colors work so well on this sculpt. Loose without packaging, like new condition.
