Weekly Drop: A KAWS x Pushead Grail, the Yamomark Glow Wall, and Fresh September Sofubi
Big week at the shop. A KAWS x Pushead grail walked in the door, Yamomark glow vinyl took over a whole shelf, and Dehara sent a box of cryptids. Sixty plus pieces landed between last Friday and today, so grab a coffee. Here is the tour, and the full shop has everything that did not fit.
Grail of the Week
KAWS x Pushead Glow in the Dark Companion
Glow in the dark unpainted vinyl. Medicom put this out in 2005 in four colorways, bronze, black, silver and this glow version, each limited to 150 pieces and sold only in Japan. Pushead skull work on the classic KAWS Companion body, standing close to 11 inches. Being straight with you: there is a small smudge on the bottom of one foot, possibly ink, visible in the pics. Not bad, but there. Vinyl is otherwise like new in the original box with the plastic inserts. Complete, awesome vinyl. Some background on the release is over at Hypebeast, who covered it back when it dropped.

The Heavy Hitters
Three big pieces this week. Two literal giants and one that lights up.
KK Toys x Soft Vingers Toys Flasher V
HUGE vinyl. Stands approx 11.5 inches tall, painted as shown, and comes with the arm attachment plus the micro driver figure. KK Toys and Soft Vingers apparently ran a couple different base vinyls on this release. Loose with header only, like new condition. Nuff said.

Dark Matter Toys Army Green Fenrir
Army green vinyl with copper, yellow, silver and more paint. DMT sticker on the foot. We were told this was an FxF only release limited to less than a handful, and info on it is thin even by Dark Matter standards. Definitely a looker in hand. Loose, no packaging, like new. Want one sealed instead? The Mixed Parts Fenrir V2 is here too at $479, never opened, missile still inside the netting packaging.

Plaseebo Color Changing Sum Walker
Milky white vinyl with gold, red, silver and more paint. A custom from Bob Conge at Plaseebo, signed on the back of the head. There is an LED unit inside and it still works, lights up like crazy when moved. Heads up, you have to remove a leg or an arm to change the batteries, and the head does not move. Amazing in hand. Comes with a Plaseebo custom header, like new condition.

Toku Corner: Heroes, Kaiju and One Metal Villain
This week brought a run of pieces tied to classic Japanese TV and film. Some vintage style, some brand new, all worth a look.
Bear Model Yellow Spectreman
Yellow vinyl with red, blue and more paint. Classic Bear Model sofubi. Spectreman was P Productions’ golden hero, on Fuji TV from 1971 to 1972, and it hit the airwaves months before Return of Ultraman and Kamen Rider that same year. Loose with header only, like new. Note the header is creased with some sticker residue, all in the pics.

B-Club GIANT Green Dorako
Green and yellow vinyl with paint as shown. HUGE piece, measures approx 12 inches tall. Dorako is the winged space kaiju that rode in on Comet Tsuifon in Ultraman episode 25 and got wrecked in a three way brawl with Red King and Gigass. Poor guy never wins. B-Club gave the sculpt the giant treatment and it rules. Loose, no packaging, like new condition.

Charactics Classic Green Biollante
Army green vinyl with metallic green, gold and more paint. Biollante, the rose and Godzilla hybrid from the 1989 film, done the Charactics way. One of the strangest kaiju Toho ever put on screen, and the design translates to sofubi beautifully. New in bag with header.

Enka Vinyl Blue Glow Grand Duke Gorgon
Unpainted blue glow in the dark vinyl. Gorgon is the Mycenae Empire spy from Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger, a green skinned man from the waist up riding a saber toothed tiger body below. Enka Vinyl picked one of the weirdest villains in the Go Nagai catalog and we are here for it. Awesome sofubi. New in bag with header.

Zollmen OMO Red Super Robot Alloy Mad Baron
Red OMO colorway, and here is the twist: this one is cast in metal, not vinyl. Serious heft in hand. Comes with the standard head plus the 100 eyes head and the sticker sheet. No firing missiles on this release. Like new in box, never displayed, box shows minimal shelf wear. Zollmen keeps doing their own thing and it keeps working.

The Yamomark Glow Wall
Six fresh Yamomark pieces landed at once, most of them heavy on the glow vinyl. Turn off the lights and this shelf goes nuclear. Start with these three.
Also in from the same batch: the Blue on Brown Bogura at $189, nice chunky vinyl with a great feel in hand, the Blue x Brown x Glow Umipoodle at $165, and the Black Hakusen King at $165 in orange and yellow over black. Freakin awesome sofubi, all three new in bag with header.
Dehara’s Cryptid Corner
Dehara Yukinori dropped off a whole zoo. The UMA pieces are cryptids done as toys, individually numbered to 100, and Dehara sketched or painted on the back of some of the boxes. Those little extras are the good stuff.
There is also a Green Satoshi Yamamoto Set at $99, a complete mini set in the original box with the Dehara card. The whole Dehara shelf is here if you want to dig.
CCP Zazahn: Pick Your Lips
Two CCP Zazahns came in together, same green and glow marbled vinyl, one with red paint on the lips and one with green. $139 each, loose, like new. Awesome sculpt either way. Grab your favorite, or do the smart thing and take both.
