Weekly Drop: Tsuburaya Kaiju Invasion, Max Toy Zazahn, Glow Kanegon and Fresh Sofubi (June 2026)
This week the shelf turned into a Tsuburaya monster lineup. We just landed a wall of fresh sofubi, and a big chunk of it pulls straight from the classic Ultraman kaiju roster: a plant monster from Return of Ultraman, the money eating Kanegon, and the cicada headed alien that started the whole thing. Mix in a glow Mark Nagata salamander, a signed Gargamel custom, and a Paul Kaiju collab, and you have one of the best drops in a while. Here is what is in hand and in stock.

Hero of the Week
Max Toy Co x Tsuburaya Green x Red Zazahn
Glow in the dark vinyl with red, green and more paint. Plant and sludge man from Return of Ultraman. Zazahn was the kelp covered sea monster from episode one of the 1971 show, and seeing it cast as an official Max Toy Co x Tsuburaya piece is a treat. Charges up bright too. Great sculpt, great paint, and a real licensed kaiju from Mark Nagata. Loose, no packaging, like new condition.

US Toys Painted Clear Semi Ningen
Clear vinyl with a bit of gold, blue and more paint. Absolutely stunning sofubi. The Semi Ningen, or Cicada Humans, are insectoid aliens from the Ultraman series, and they have a deep history: the cicada head sculpt was reworked into the very first Alien Baltan head. So this is basically where the Baltan look was born. Loose, no packaging, like new condition.

Kaijin x One Up Glow Kanegon
Glow in the dark vinyl with purple, fleshy and more paint. Awesome sofubi. Have to love the money eating kaiju. Kanegon goes all the way back to Ultra Q in 1966, a kid who turned into a coin gobbling monster, and he is still one of the most beloved Tsuburaya designs. This Kaijin x One Up version nails the goofy charm. Loose, comes with header only, like new condition.

Glow and Studio Heavyweights

Two for the deep collectors. The Max Toy Co Glowing Giant Salamander Kaiju Yvonne is classic sofubi from Mark Nagata, glow in the dark vinyl with pinks, gold, orange and more paint, and a great Max Toy execution on what is apparently a limited run of just 8. Grab Yvonne for $99. Next to it, the Gargamel x Toph Custom Earth Restroyer: a greenish color vinyl with metallic green, blue, purple and more paint, signed Toph on the bottom of the foot and dated 2011. A signed Gargamel custom at this price does not show up often. Earth Restroyer is $79. Both loose, no packaging, like new condition.

Grody Shogun Clear Green Mummy Seagool
Great collab with Grody Shogun and Paul Kaiju. Clear vinyl with green, fleshy browns, black and more paint. The Mummy treatment on the Seagool sculpt works so well, all wrapped and gnarly. Exactly as shown. Loose without packaging, like new condition.

Yamomark Clear Green Mini Mushroom Soup Man
Clear green vinyl with a bit of blue, white and more paint. Classic sculpt by Yamomark, and a very cool mini. Easy one to slot onto a crowded shelf, and the clear green really pops. Loose, no packaging, like new condition.
