Mage #15 from 1999, part of Matt Wagner's long-running series about a modern-day Arthur figure. Wagner's art here shows the evolution from his Grendel days — cleaner lines but still that distinctive storytelling style that made both series cult favorites. This was during Image's more mature phase, when creators had settled into longer-form storytelling. Near mint condition preserves Wagner's artwork in all its black and white glory.
