Weekly Drop: A Vintage Bullmark Invasion, the Giant Ragon Grail, and Fresh August Sofubi
Big week. A wall of vintage Bullmark came through the door, including a giant Ragon that stopped us in our tracks, plus a stack of new bagged Bullmark, fresh Grody Shogun babies, Healeymade cantina wrestlers, and a pile of Super7. Lots to look at. Let’s go.
Hero of the Week
Bullmark Vintage Green Giant Ragon
HUGE piece of vinyl. Stands approx. 13.75 inches tall. Green vinyl with green, grey, yellow and more paint. Very nice paint for vintage, just a slight hint of light general wear, nothing of significance. Very nice in hand.
Ragon is the undersea humanoid from Ultra Q, back in 1966, and the character came back bigger in Ultraman. The giant size Bullmark version does not turn up often, and finding one this clean is even harder. Loose, no packaging, in as described condition.

The Vintage Bullmark Wall
Quick history for the new folks: Bullmark was started in 1969 by former Marusan people and cranked out kaiju vinyl through the 1970s. Some runs got brighter colorways and were shipped to Hawaii and the West Coast in small numbers. Collectors call those Hawaiian exports, and they are tough to find. We got one this week.
Bullmark Vintage Hawaiian Export Orange Gandar
Orange vinyl with mostly green and a bit of silver and black paint. Gandar is the ice breathing monster from Ultraseven, the one the Alien Poll turned loose in the freezing episode. Slight to moderate general paint wear from age, some writing on the feet, and the feet are slightly toed in when standing. All shown in the pics. Honest vintage. Loose, no packaging.

Bullmark Vintage Golden Orange King Ghidorah
Toho’s three headed terror in orangish vinyl with gold, green, blue and more paint. Subtle. Probably a 1970s version. Light to moderate general wear, the blue paint on the necks has the worst of it, and some writing on the feet, all visible in the pics. Vintage Ghidorah at this price does not hang around.

New Bullmark, Bagged with Headers
Not everything Bullmark this week is 50 years old. These four came in new in bag with header, and the vinyl on all of them is outstanding. Zone Fighter is the hero from Toho’s 1973 TV show, Gezora and Ganyme are the cuttlefish and crab from Space Amoeba, and Takkong is the oil monster from Return of Ultraman.
M1Go UltraQ Giant Pink Namegon
The giant slug from Mars, straight out of Ultra Q. Pink vinyl with silver, white and more paint. Classic Ultra Q sofubi. Loose, comes with bag and header, like new condition. While you are in an M1 mood, the M1 x Bullmark Silver on Grey Mechagodzilla ($199) and the M1 x Marusan Grey x Blue Viras ($48) landed the same week.

Cantina Lucha
Two from Healeymade, and they are a matched set. The Star Wars cantina aliens get the lucha treatment, both in red and black marbled vinyl with just a bit of yellow paint for the eyes. Both new in bag with header card, $99 each.
Grody Shogun Starry Eyed Big Headed Baby
Clear vinyl with just the eyes painted, and a smaller fleshy colored kewpie doll floating inside of it. Neat-o! New in bag with header. Luke sent a whole nursery this week: the Empty version ($165) if you like it hollow, the Glowing Galligantus Baby Monster ($99), and the Clear x Glow Claw Machine Randy ($135) with a claw machine on his left hand. More in the Grody Shogun section.
