The Sofubi Show Calendar: Superfest 95, NYCC, DesignerCon and More

Show season is coming. The next six months are stacked: Superfest in Tokyo, NYCC in New York, DesignerCon in Vegas, Tokyo Comic Con at Makuhari, then Wonder Festival to kick off 2027. Every date below is pulled straight from the official event pages, so you can book around them. Can not make the flight? Also no problem. Under each show we lined up in stock pieces from the shop, the same kind of stuff that vanishes off con tables before lunch.

Superfestival 95, Tokyo, September 27

The one sofubi heads circle first. Superfest 95 hits the Science Museum in Kudanshita on Sunday, September 27. One day only. General doors at 11:00, priority entry at 10:15 if you pay up, and the whole thing wraps at 4pm. This is where Japanese makers debut lottery colorways and one-offs, and dealer tables already sold out this round. Miss it? Superfest 96 is set for January 10, 2027, same venue.

Closer to home, this Bemon Giant Glow Zagoran Head is exactly the kind of piece that surfaces at a Tokyo show. Unpainted glow in the dark vinyl, oversized scale, limited to a run of 20. Real presence in hand. Loose, like new.

Honest note: a bit of red paint inside the right foot, shown in the pics, displays great. And the Shirahama Very Pink Gyoza Kun is very pink vinyl with gold, blue, minty green and more paint. Awesome sofubi. More from Shirahama, Marusan and Bullmark in their brand pages.

Also fresh off the boat: the Zollmen Fleshy Jinmenken Omake at $235 and the Sunguts Unpainted Seafoam Matsutake Wrestler at $19, the cheapest way into Sunguts weirdness we have had in a while.

Kayo Co x Clutter glow in the dark Maniya the Moon Kaiju sofubi with signed header card

New York Comic Con, October 8-11

NYCC takes over the Javits Center for four days, and 2026 marks 20 years of the show. It is not a pure toy con, but the designer toy aisles get stronger every year, and October in New York means horror season. In that spirit: the Kayo Co x Clutter Glow Maniya the Moon Kaiju. Glow in the dark vinyl with green, gold and more paint. Nice hair. Header signed and numbered 1/4, and Clutter is about as New York as designer toys get. If Freddy is more your speed, the Luke Welch Freddy Krueger Snake is $44 and in stock.
